Sealing a Td5 safari snorkel to the airbox.
Hi all.

Often get flooding in my village so would like to seal up my air box and snorkel properly. I don't plan on going deep, but often can get caught out so want to be safe than sorry.

I'm going to seal where the snorkel fits through the wing. Where else in the airbox, do i need to seal? Are there any 1 way valves that need investigating?

I plan on fitting extended breathers and ensuring the ECU is kept dry.

Thanks in advance

If you want the best chance to keep water out of your air intake system then fit a nugget stuff air intake (depending on which snork you have). Otherwise you have many joints and valves in the system.

Snork to wing, air intake to wing, air intake to solid pipe, solids pipe to flex pipe, flex pipe to water drain valve, water drain valve to flex pipe, flex pipe to air filter housing, and then two holes inside air filter housing. All these need to be sealed and air tight.
