The bumper came with pre-cut plates to replace the spring clips (I tried the existing ones but the new bottom bracket was too thick for them to fit). These plates had a little "finger" sticking out to aid with lining them up blind when dropping the bolts down, I wish I had taken a picture of them!

Mine also came with the fingered plates, but despite this, the combination of the air-con grille protrusion (above) and bash plate (below) meant that I didn't fancy my chances of being able to hold it in position whilst threading the long M8 bolts through the bumper & chassis. Much easier to use the spring clips as a 3rd hand, and after a few minutes fettling with the grinder that was achieved.

Front grill fitted. Just have to fit the new square number plate tomorrow.

Liking the red stripe down the grill, subtle but works really well

I’m not so sure about the square plate though

I think you’re square plate will get ripped off if you leave it hanging so far down?
