Going back to an early question about them being noticable.

Yes they are and they are in the summer too.

A few weeks back during that 5 minute hot spell we had. I was driving along and reached down to turn the A/C switch on. Less than 5 minutes later not only did I think that the A/C wasn't working, but my ass was a bit hot............I think you can work out what I did.

I must look at the switch next time...... Craig Rogers

But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

sorry to bring up an old thread again but just looking for a few suggestions......

I found this kit online for heated seat wiring...comes with dash switch, and connector and wire....

Can anyone suggest a seat heater that will work with the genuine dash switch?

it seams the EXMOOR kit will not work because it has a HI low setting.......so does anyone know of a kit that will work?

thank you!

Have you spoken to Mark at Rovers North?

He has a large selection of genuine parts on his shelves.

Have not tried the wiring loom you link to ourselves so can not comment on it.

Just use one of the settings and switch that with the genuine switch. If you want plug and play all genuine, then you'll have to get genuine pads.

fitted some XS seats today, fitted the loom to the vehicle and went to wire it up and guess what. the upright part of the seat doesnt have the loom or heated bits in it! the base does complete with plug to go into the upright loom! i didn't think you could get XS seats unheated?

anyway i have ordered a Waeco pad set to fit in it. i should of checked before! other seat had all the right bits

On that subject - heated rear 110 seats as in 2nd row - anyone done it? Cheers

James - That's strange.

I can't see why you couldn't do the rear seats.
I managed to do my front seats, with out even removing the hog rings.
You do have to be careful and it's a tight fit though but not too bad at all. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

i fitted the waeco pads to some puma Vinyls on another truck and they work a treat bottom and back. so intend to do the same to this front XS one missing the elements.

Yes strange indeed, anyone else come across the non heated XS puma seats?

On another note, the connectors for the looms, i will need two female fittings, went through the older posts here but the links have expired (the ones i tried)

MQF are they called or simialar? Cheers

Mick - Yes, not a bad job at all but best to remove the whole seat and do the job indoors or on a bench.
No tools needed.
There are pics on here I think I have put up a while ago, if you can't find any I do have some pics.
May give you a better idea as to how it all comes apart.

James - Yes, something like that.
I have them myself, PaulMC here has them and can sell you them inc OE wire tails to fit for a factory finish.
Around 15 I think.
I'd drop him a 'PM'. Thumbs Up Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧
