Stealth mode?

Whilst trying to fathom the dim dash display, I found a setting to enable stealth mode when the pivi pro screen is switched off. It’s supposed to dim the switch and steering wheel backlights.

On my Jag, there is a Stealth mode button on the touch screen Additional features, and it immediately blanks the sat nav and turns the rest really low.

First question is, other than setting the ‘quick action’ button on the left hand steering wheel switch, to Blank the main screen, how else am I supposed to blank it?

If I do set the switch on the steering wheel to blank the pivi pro, it doesn’t dim anything else, so it’s not activated stealth mode.

Stealth mode is triggered by turning the main Pivi screen off, however that is achieved. So if you’ve got it enabled, using the steering wheel button to turn off the screen will dim all the lights too. I’ve set mine up to do exactly that on the long press of the diamond button, works no bother and dims all the dash and switch lights as well as the interior illumination (footwells, door pockets etc).

You can also turn the screen off in the settings menu, hit the cog and if I recall correctly there is an option in the abbreviated list you get before you hit ‘All’ to get the full options list.

Ok. Mine is obviously not working correctly. The switch lights are staying full on. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV
