Booked up to go on the Friday. Bit annoyed that I mixed up the dates as I've got a meeting on Coventry in the morning so my wife gets to take the Landi and I have to come from the other direction in the Censored !

I believe the show is open until730pm on the Friday so not to bad.

Jonathan No the other left . . .

After years of Billing, our first trip to the CLA Game Fair some years ago was a massive eye-opener about what is possible in terms of facilities. It makes Billing look like a Monrovian jumble sale crossed with a refugee camp.

That said, they do know how to charge to camp for the weekend!!

Billing was crossed off the 'must do' list a few years ago and now the CLA is a firm booking.

See you there (fat bald bloke, petite dark-haired wife, slim 9 year old son and rocket-fuel springer). Thumbs Up D300 HSE 110

Gawd, I hope they really have sorted the traffic issues from last time! We didn't go, but got held up a fair amount at work with it. Might try and sneak up over the weekend (with work) though Thumbs Up Mark

Had fun day today at Blenheim - loads of Land Rovers finest in the car parks Wink

The Land Rover stand had a couple of Evokes on it to look round as well as one of the rest of the range - Defender was represented by a Red Cross 110 ... Get there early and get a free bacon roll or burger for lunch by showing your key fob - but please make a donation in the bucket ...

The guys from Twisted were there with a few nice 90s on their stand and JE had a v nice V8 ...

Also there were 4x4 tyres with a nice selection of black knobby things ...

Didnt make it to the far side where there wa an off road course but looked like demonstration rides anyway ...

Hope you all enjoy it if you are going over the rest of the weekend ...

Jon

United Kingdom 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Keswick Green
I was working today in the area, saw a fair few Defenders there, if any of you spotted a keswick green usw towing a car trailer (with a silver transit on eventually) it was me. I was very pleased to see we did not have the traffic chaos of previous years, although local jack fm was saying it was gridlocked around Woodstock, funnily enough a mate who lives there said the same thing but I didn`t see it. 2011 110 USW

Took our hours old new 90 to the fair. No troubles getting in or out and a great event. It's more than a days visit though as we missed quite a bit out. Complimentary Land Rover drinks and burgers was a nice touch.
