Safety Devices Explorer Rack Dynamic load rating
Hi,

Anyone know what this is? They are very cagey when asked and will only say that they are as strong as LR recommend to carry on the roof, which is understandable I guess but at the same time i would like to know what the maximum is just in case i accidentally put more on the roof than 150kg.

Anyone have experience carrying heavy loads on their Safety Devices (Explorer Range) racks?

Thanks

Mark

So reverse engineered and never tested then?

Can't see why you would not share the data with a prospective customer if you had it.

Although dynamic loading is probably more to do with the criteria you want to meet with the vehicle. There's a thread on here discussing it but I think the earlier dynamic loadings for the Defender were more to do with being able to maintain the specification for side slopes than going at 70mph around the M25.
