Almost certainly broken wires in the rubber tube between door and B post.
The button disappearing suggests that the linkage has come adrift inside, possibly due to forcing against the central locking actuator. Take the door card and water shedder off and I'm sure all will be clear. The wires in the rubber boot from b post to doors will have snapped it’s a very common fault that can be fixed with some better quality wire and a bit of soldering. If the buttons have dropped down the plastic pin holding the pivot to the door frame may have broken. Should all be clear if you take the door card off.

One of my rear doors has stopped working on the central locking. Now it's stopped raining, I'll take a look at the wiring. Thanks for the help gents.
