Dog Guard Instructions - LR 006448 M5X7A
I have just managed to acquire a genuine Land Rover dog guard (second hand) for my 07 TDCI 110 CSW. I have been searching everywhere for a set of instructions for the guard and cannot find them anywhere.

Can anyone help as I have not the slightest clue as to how to start.

Thanks in advance.

Hi thanks for the reply, but please don't bother as I have just realised that the guard I have bought is for a 90 and I have a 110 CSW! Big Cry

Bad luck. I was going to say having fitted one myself don't worry about the instructions, they make no sense!! 2010 XS USW

Mine was already installed when bought, but all of the brackets are marked on the opposite side to that where they are actually fitted.......

I will sell it on eBay or on here. In the mean time i have bought a Travall system. I have had one in my Disco 3 and it was a really well engineered bit of kit and a doddle to install. Everything i had heard about the LR system was that it is a pig to install. Thanks for the offer of support though.

I can confirm it was very difficult to install. Had I known I would not have brought it so it sounds like you have the best outcome. 2010 XS USW

I have used travall in our other cars for years but when getting the one for the defender I decided the mounting locations for the genuine one looked much stronger.

I guess it depends if you want a dog guard Vs a cargo barrier?

The genuine one is only a pain to fit initially. After you have the brackets installed it is very easy to take in and out.
