Hi Guys and Gals,
Help please! I have an MY14 Puma 110 and want to remove the rear trim panels around the windows to fit Panoramic glass. When I removed the small plastic covers over what I thought were going to be screws or fir tree's just inside the rear door panel and along the top of the panel, what I can see under the caps look like rivet heads! Has JLR started to fasten these panels with rivets... which will mean I will have to drill them out? Or are these just press stud fastenings that will pop off with a bit of leverage? Sorry, but I can't help other than suggest that since its a 2014 model, you take it along to your friendly local dealer for his advice.
Mine's a bit older and the rear interior trim is 10mm plywood which comes off with a screwdriver bit in a battery drill. Simples!

Cheers mate! Yes, screws were what I was expecting to find given what is noted on the 'net'!

If I'm understanding what your saying you mean the trims for the two small windows next to the rear door. If so under the small caps there should be rivets but these don't need touching. Just grab the trim panel close to the rear door and pull it towards the front of the car and it will come off as the clips that hold the trim on just push on. Ray

The rivets you are referring to hold the spring clips to the trim, whatever you do don’t drill them out! The side trims are held by spring clips along the top edge so you should be able to manoeuvre the trim out once you jiggle it a bit to release the clips you should have fir tree fasteners on the bottom of the trim. The trim is held in place by a combination of fir tree fasteners and clips. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Yep, I know this one dates back a few years, but it's what google pointed me to.....
I've had my car for something like 19 years, and never had the rear quarter trim. It didn't come with a set, but I've now got some. I can see that I need the clips (referenced above) to attach the trims to the door frame. BTR6682. I found one of them attached to the car after all the years. I can get more of them. No problems. But..... how does this trim panel fit / connect to the side window trim? I haven't any photos to hand - which would certainly help - maybe tomorrow. There seems to be a sprung 'leaf' bracket attached to the rear quarter trim, but as far as I can see, nothing for this to link / connect to on the side trims. I guess I must be missing something? Or.... they are meant to just 'tension' or 'brace' themselves against the side trims, and be fixed into the other clips? I know this is quite hard to describe, but if this has made sense to anyone else, please let me know what you can. While I'm on the same sort of subject. My side trims just have the 'big' hook/clips, which I assumed were just meant to hook onto the internal guttering. Now I see on the parts diagram that there are smaller versions of the clips above - MWC6203 - are these supposed to clip onto the guttering, and have the trims hook into them?? Thanks as always.
