SOLD - Aluminium roof box

Hi everyone.

I have for sale a lockable aluminium wedge-shaped roof box. Ideally suited to any 4x4, adventure vehicle or trailer.

Lightweight and very strong. Easy to mount on a roof rack, roof bars or a flat surface such as a trailer or pick up bed.

External dimensions are 140cm wide, 95cm long and 30cm tall at the highest point. Comes with 2 keys and four 13mm bolts that fit the channels in flat roof racks for easy mounting.

Fitted with 2 gas struts to help open the lid, with 2 locks sunk into the aluminium (on 1 lock the rubber cover has broken off; it could be reattached or replaced but I never felt the need as it causes no obvious issues.)

I had this custom made to fit the space on my rack in front of a roof tent, but I have also used it without the tent. Really versatile and great for keeping camping or expedition kit clean and dry. We used it to store camp chairs, tables and sleeping bags, but it would be great for recovery gear, tents, wellies or that bulky cold weather clothing you're hoping you won't need!

These boxes now retail for £400 new. Condition is very good, with just some light scratches in places, it has not had a great deal of use.

Collection preferred but happy to deal with a courier arranged by the buyer.
