Jigging about

If I remember right did I see somewhere that Defenders built before may 08 were built without any form of body alignment jigs?

'Leaked' - as in past tense?
Does that mean they no longer have the water problem? Are they really 'jigged' now?

Only ask out of interest, as this would be a revelation...
I think I've been a little lucky with my '07, it seems reasonably straight and doesn't leak.
