I assume that you mean the rubber mud flap, and that it is a 110 not a 90 (they don't fall off 90s).
On my 110 when this happened I fitted a length of extruded aluminium angle approx 5" long to reinforce and repair the broken edge of the body panel. I cleaned the body panel where it fits very thoroughly, bonded it with a silicon adhesive sealant, and reinforced it with two "pop" rivets going upwards though the undamaged section of panel flange and the new angle. The mudflap was then reattached with the machine screw going through the reinforcing angle. This is completely undiscernable from outside the vehicle and is a lot stronger than the original arrangement. The original idea of having the mudflap bracket secured by a single screw into the flange on a thin ally panel is little short of cretinous, no-one in their right mind would expect it to last since the flange will work-harden and break. It is possibly the most moronic bit of "design" on the Defender. |

They do exactly what my repair did (they weren't available when I did mine), except that since my reinforcing plate sits above the panel flange not below, as illustrated, I think mine is stronger and more discreet.
Mine cost me 1/2 hour's work and two pop rivets, the Entreq ones are definitely more posh and more expensive. You pays your money and makes your choice, as they say. |

Just for the rear mud guard brakets I would say yes but I didn't think anything of it as I had priced up the delivery with a few other larger items on it and though it was alright. Obviously 3.50 for just the brakests is even better Russell

Dealer refused to do mine last week under warranty, so I repaired both sides in about and hour. I can't open the entreq website, on iPhone, see if I can post a pic tomorrow.
