2013 Defender 90 XS tasteful mods....
First job ticked off. Really decent unit.

Ignore the finger prints and the weird lines are reflections not scratches!

had a panic one of the heated seats stopped working but it was just a fuse!

I also added Dynamat to the underside of the bonnet which if you are thinking of doing was a complete waste of time. I am hoping the interior floor kit yields better results.

Why do those switch relocation panels always have that big round hole at the bottom? 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Dynamat interior helps a lot, bonnet is often not worth it as sound "leaks" from everywhere in the vicinity anyway.

Bluest - It does have a purpose (round dial.) but most people including myslef don't like it!
Far better to be squared off matching the top edge. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ā›½ļøšŸ›¢ļøšŸ‘Øā€šŸ”§šŸ§°āš™ļø RED, WHITE & BOOST! šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§

It will. The roof and rear wheel boxes are well worth doing too, especially when teamed with some 6mm foam over the top.

The Puma bonnet is already pretty stiff, which is why Dynamat doesn't really help there. Darren

Thanks all.

Agree the dial space is a pain, I guess first person to create the template wanted one and everyone else just copied it.

I may put an internal/external temp gauge in, or altimeter? If anyone has suggestions for something EASY, please shout.

The rear in mine doesnt have carpet on the wheel arch boxes so I am hoping once I dynamat and carpet that it will make more difference!

Stonechipping the under arches road side helps also, but does need to be clean and prior to Dinitrol application to metal areas.
Helps a lot on plastic arches under the front too, but as I said must be clean first.

All the different things added together help a lot. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ā›½ļøšŸ›¢ļøšŸ‘Øā€šŸ”§šŸ§°āš™ļø RED, WHITE & BOOST! šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§

Thumbs Up I always wondered. Iā€™d stick a voltmeter or USB port in there or something. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Rear Dynamated and fitted with carpet today. Ran out of time to try it to see the effect!

Looks good. Did the same with mine as soon as I got it.

I have used Dynamat in the roof and inside the front doors but tempted to drop the headlining again to add some foam. Stu...

LR are replacing the headlining when the new one comes in - it is sagging slightly in the middle. Not quite sure why they couldn't sort that without replacing it

In that case, it'd pay to remove the existing and install foam before taking it in for the new one to be fitted. Obviously no need to reinstall the old one. Darren
