Day out green laning.
Not today but yesterday we went green laning, we have done this one before and this one was a bit different in the way of a newbie to our little group Wink

So we all met up about 10am ish in the car park Very Happy ..............................................

So after a good chat and getting the newbie's CB working right Very Happy we made our start and then we stopped at the end of the first lane just to make sure all was ok ...................................

To see a bit further Laughing .....................................

So after a few more we had a check to make sure the newbie's 90 was ok, it was Thumbs Up ..........................

The newbie came out with us a while ago, when we did the agi to south molton run backwards, he was hooked from then, his other passion at the time was he had a Lotus track car, but he says that this is far better Very Happy

Then it was already lunch time Very Happy
could not get the others in as it is a small car park Wink .............................

So as we had a great time doing the rest of the lane's, we had some spare time, so the newbie wanted to do the lane we call Bray steps, last time the white 90 had to be winched up Rolling Eyes it was to see if he could get his 90 up the steps, he did on the 3rd attempt, well done that man as it was a bit damp and the series 3 made it up on it's 3rd attempt as well, great stuff and the rest of us got up it in 1 Very Happy ...................................

Thumbs Up Looks a great day, liking that rear winch too. Plenty of work gone into that alone.

Those steps and boulders look slippy too I can imagine at the moment being damp. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

So the standard SIII Station Wagon on leaf-springs did everything that the modified, roll-caged coilers did?

It looks like a nice day out.

I may be in a minority here, but I think a line of aggressive-looking offroad machines look a little out of place on lanes in the countryside, and might be more at home on an off-road site.

I don't wish to spoil peoples' fun, so I'll take cover!

^^^ Yes and no Slidy, yes it did but only when the series 111 tyres were lowered to 17psi so he could get up and they were only lowered if one of us has a compressor to inflate them up again, other wise he would not attempt to do it Rolling Eyes

As for Millie, in your yes, she looks aggressive ?

There is no need to take cover Slidy Laughing i do value your input Thumbs Up 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper.

If you was to come on one of our outings James you would know why Laughing

They get really over grown and the roll cages brush the small trees out of the way of the body work so not to damage it Thumbs Up 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper.

James and DAZ, to save you the expense of buying a roll cage, there are some lanes that are ok and non damaging with just the odd brush off foliage along the sides of the landy's Wink

James how can you doubt that the red one will not make it down to this part of the world Whistle 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper.
