Best off road trails and passes in Europe
As I'm hoping to trek down to Italy next year I'm looking for routes to take on the way down or when I'm there. I thought I'd start this thread for everyone to show off their favourite off road holiday roads. I'm mainly interested in France, switzerland and Italy however if you've got great pictures or info from the Pyrenees or wherever why don't you post it to inspire me or others for future trips.

Ones I've found after some researching so far:

D39T - Col du parpaillon - The tunnel (Pictures don't do it justice, plenty of videos on youtube for the curious of you)

Tremalzo Pass - Lake Garda Italy

Via Piana - Ceratello - near lake Iseo Italy
Went here when I was a teenager in my dads l322

Via tremola - old gotthard pass - Switzerland. Not off road but not tarmac, cobbled so it looks nice.

Stephen Patchett's videos are quite entertaining - ideal for a winters night planning....

I live down near to Milan.

We often do trips to the western italian Alps. Look up Via Del Sale.

There is also an app called wikiloc, great for finding new placed to explore.
