remap - does adding the intercooler help a lot...
OK, so before my trip to France I had my car mapped, I don't notice 'that' much difference (as It may have had one when I bought it) and I've never driven anyone else's...

Anyway, I guess at the moment it's around 150 BHP? The biggest thing I noticed was coming back LOADED with bike rack, holiday stuff, family, lots of wine it did 34.6 MPG for a 110, the best ever.

My question though if I get an intercooler does this add to the BHP / Torque and anyone who has done this after a remap did you notice a difference?

Thanks

Hi there,

I can't help with your question on adding an uprated intercooler as I haven't done this on mine.

But I can say that I noticed a big difference when going from the standard mapping to the BAS 150 map.
Seemed much smother to drive and a noticeable increase in pulling power/torque on the hills.

Perhaps as you say, yours had already been mapped. Either that or something isn't right with the mapping you had done.

mine was mapped with intercooler added later

i was towing alot and alot of the time when i did it

intercooler made it better on long hill climbs for pull and lower engine coolant temps. Cheers
