Profit isn't a dirty word. Whistle

Less and less of the really good plates are avaible as the years go by so I think they are a good investment if you find a good one or do have one.
Only trouble is if you let it go, it's gone. Laughing Diesel$ Live$ Matter. β›½οΈπŸ›’οΈπŸ‘¨β€πŸ”§πŸ§°βš™οΈ RED, WHITE & BOOST! πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Very Happy The members of β€œsociety” that don’t like anyone making a profit, obviously are work shy, freeloaders, live on benefits paid for by those of us that pay tax, don’t work, steel and take drugs Thumbs Up

Have considered getting one, but never seriously enough to actually splash cash.
Have no objections to others having them, and laugh equally hard at the tragic ones as the clever ones Rolling with laughter

I to the same was playing with plate names on the DVLA site and came across my one really cheap, so my wife and 2 daughters bought it for me as a present which i was gladly pleased at, mine is a subtle one, not in your face, as the defender has a rear square plate, it works perfectly Thumbs Up 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Nor did I until a point a few years ago. The DLVA search box thing is good, but not always what you want when you want though.
Some are naff, no different to a generic plate. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. β›½οΈπŸ›’οΈπŸ‘¨β€πŸ”§πŸ§°βš™οΈ RED, WHITE & BOOST! πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

That couple have owned those plates for years and they've appeared on various cars. I can't remember their names but they're both involved in the theatre. I've never seen them park the other way around Laughing Darren

On our travels around the UK we often play a game of trying to spot a Range Rover without a personal plate. In many years and thousands of miles we have yet to see a single Range Rover Sport without one. Full Fat Range Rovers on the other hand seem to be about 80/20 % personal plates. Not sure why that should be?

I was out and about for work yesterday and put your theory to the test. Having taken a random sample (that being all 7 RRS's that I passed) I can fully agree with your findings. Wonder if there are any other cars so effected? 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone

Sold a "3x3" I have had on retention for a while recently & got well over twice what I paid for it originally. Now on the lookout for a suitable one(s) to reinvest in, got outbid by a single bid in the last DVLA auction on a "2x3" as I was away & had to leave a proxy bid rather than bid live Big Cry

Incidentally, VVS210 was the number assigned to my first LR, a 1960 series 2 SWB, it was non transferable as the previous owner had sold the original plate.
