narrowed minded me.
granted I'm narrowed minded but this makes perfect sense to me, can't see why this isn't put into action?

If numbers alone told a story no one would buy a defender. This carefully crafted piece fails spectacularly to entertain the possibility that an immigrant could bring any value to the country they move to.

It is also perhaps telling that the audience is only deemed of sufficient intelligence to use a gumball as a unit of measure.

I think you may have missed the point (or it could be me Laughing ),

I believe the presenter is stating that largely the immigrants are indeed valued members of society and as such by leaving their home land are in fact making matters worse for it. This isn't about whether it adds value to the country they are immigrating to but the value they are taking away from their home land and as such remaining would be beneficial?

makes good sense to me but then my level of intellect and IQ probably should be measured in gum balls Very Happy

But that could apply equally to e.g someone born and raised in e.g. Moss Side?

I think when you see it demonstrated like that it's quite remarkable.

I've for a long time thought it makes more sense to help the country in need than the individuals.

I was brought up in Manchester and Moss Side had a terrible reputation due to the number of coloureds residing there, this was over fifty years ago when I was a young boy. However, when I attended secondary school one boy in my class lived in Moss Side and we struck up a friendship and I visited his house many times only to discover that the majority of people who lived in that area were decent, friendly and law-abiding folk. Just goes to show never judge a book by its cover. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Moss Side....but that's not a country?

a lot of people commute into London for business. they pay their taxes which then get distributed back across the country so although there's some similarity it's really not the same as the gum ball demo.

although the gum balls are all different colours we're not talking colours we're talking immigration and world poverty and the immigration is simply making matters worse than better

There are those who migrate, and those whose countries are migrated into.

Do both sides have equal rights?

There is a certain political class in this country who are terribly concerned with the rights of the former, whilst trying to silence the latter.

They call themselves "liberals". Rolling Eyes

If you live in a country that is prosperous, that has good laws and quality of life, it makes sense to control your borders and immigration and only allow those who want to share that culture, learn the language and be productive. If you let government bring people who dont share your values, dont want to assimilate and want to change the culture then you risk losing your country. It's pretty simple.

unfortunately here we have people in government that are even more simple Crying or Very sad

we've got a certain Boris (for whom I rather like - he puts a smile on my face at least) who so far as I can see has said something just the way it is whether you like it or not there's no denying it's true.

I might not like people calling me 'big ears' but truth of the matter is I have big ears.

I would appear freedom of speech is no longer that anymore, we're only allowed to say what the minorities like to hear. clearly minorities can of course say what the hell they like.

That it is an interesting point of view. Noting your location presumably you are Native American.

Which tribe did you originate from and do you still speak in native tongue and keep traditional ways?

I wonder how many waves of immigration there has been into England?

Where do you start? With the Romans or the French? How about the Welsh and Scots invading/raiding England. How about the Vikings?

Then there was the good old British Empire/East Indian company bringing in different nationalities.

What about the Nepalese who have fought bravely in the British army as the Gurkha regiment. Let alone citizens from different nations fighting either in a British Army regiment or alongside the British army

What about the children of the immigrants?

Do you want to deport them as undesirables? If so I am out of the UK. Yes I am legally entitled to get a different nation passport, I am in fact entitled to dual citizenship. Maybe I should get that other passport ready so I can go and live in a different country

How many 'English' people can actually prove they are 100% pure English with no Roman/Viking/Scottish/Welsh influence in their make up.

The British race is a mongrel race made up of from many different races.
