zsd-puma Member Since: 09 Aug 2016 Location: Kent Posts: 2720	They were made by Mantec for Land Rover I believe, although Mantec went bust. They're pretty much just for show rather than actually offering much in the way of protection

And being angled if you got hung up on something they'd skid off and drop the side panels/doors onto what ever you were hung up on, traditional rock/tree sliders would offer far more protection. The adventure trims would just act as mud, gravel and even rock traps. They do look cool though.
