Can the Hawkeye to the ECU learning for fitting the new VCV?

No it doesn’t, it will do injector learning but not any other (I think?). In any case I’m not convinced it’s that important as I have read other posts that suggest it learns itself over time and that a working VCV is better, even without the learning, than a broken VCV. Laughing

Fitted the replacement VCV today. Real bitch of a job as it is impossible to get to the screws with all the wiring and pipes that are in the way. Definitely a job that requires a lot of patience and small hands!

Just been on my test run (on which the power loss issue always happens) and for the first time...

No power loss problem! Whistle

All I have done is replace the part, no learning done. I’m not really sure what the symptoms are if the learning hasn’t been done but I didn’t feel anything untoward.

Thanks to everyone that contributed ideas for fixing this issue and particularly Blackwolf - you nailed this one!

Where is the best place to buy a VCV these days? I’d like to keep one aside. 2008 2.4 110 Utility XS.
