Yeah we spoke I think. It's a nice 90 but I have a G4 D3 V8 arriving here next week and already have a 90... I dont think the wife would sign off on another! V8 90...WIP

Thanks for the guidance guys. I thought I had priced it really well.

So far I haven't advertised it on autotrader or pistonheads as I thought that with mods, those might not be the best places.

Do you think I should remove the obvious stuff and sell it as near to original spec as possible? And if so, would it still be worth over 25? Which I would need to get really. V8 90...WIP

If selling to "non Defender" punters then I'd be tempted to take some stuff off, mainly, the rack, roof ladder, snorkel and KBX grille which will then make it look reasonably standard. Price doesn't look bad to me. Good luck with the sale.

So had a call from the purchaser today that's made me feel very bad. Apparently "the passenger side wheel bearing is making a noise" (I don't know which one as he didn't say). I'm very surprised as it's been an almost perfect defender for me and 47k is low mileage for a wheel bearing failure I feel.

Any thoughts? V8 90...WIP

Of course, but it's still a surprise to hear it has happened!

Like I say, 47k is low miles for a wheel bearing failure in my experience...I don't like to sell things that break straight away. V8 90...WIP
