Britpart version has arrived from LR Direct. Normally wouldn’t buy Britpart, but in this case I can’t imagine it can possibly last less time than the original.

Anything I need to know when it comes to swapping them over? 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Yup, I've done exactly the same. Mine had a few knocks and dents though. Plus some rust where the paint has come off. Nothing of note to say really. Don't breath the gas. 👍

Thumbs Up

All the fins have fallen out of mine, it looks like 1:43 scale replica of a giant accordion is hanging below my bumper! 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Just booked mine in for a recharge this afternoon. that'll be the real test. Previous owner removed all but the compressor so hopefully it all works ok.
If you don't mind, could you upload a few pictures of your pipework routing and specifically where the two black metal brackets supporting the pipework fit.
Thank ya muchly!

Before you fit it Dinitrol all the brackets front and rear, and inside and outside the supporting frame. It gets all the road spray/salt and corrodes like mad if not treated. The paint finish is the usual LR standard, ie almost non existant. Big Cry
Might be ok to ACFS50 the fins too.

I'll definitely be Dinitroling brackets and frame etc, but undecided on the fins. Not sure coating them with anything will reduce their effectiveness, especially if it encourages dirt to stick. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

BenB8Man - pics for you. Excuse half of the Sahara stick to everything. Haven't cleaned it since Morocco!

I took my old condenser off today. Only three bolts plus the two gas connections and unplug the fan. Very simple. New one Dinitrolled to go on tomorrow out the weather is kind.

It's worth noting that the Britpart condenser seems to be an OE one. I can't spot any differences between it and the original. Fan is the same brand and all bolts and rivets are in exactly the same place.

So this is what 11 years and 80,000 miles does to a Land Rover condenser...

In case anyone looking contact Twisted spare parts (LR parts) in Thirsk and they may have some take offs. I got one for £200 like new. According to workshop manual TD5 and TDCI have the same part number JRP105080.
