Waterford Land Rover - South Africa
My defender has been at Waterford for two weeks now with the dreaded "engine knocking noise" syndrome. During this time the dealership have loaned me a Discovery 3 which is mighty nice of them. They also decided to take it upon themselves to fit the modified sump guard which was recalled and put a new hand brake drum which was chattering worse than two old Ladys. Land rover South Africa have sent their technicians out to solve the problem which unfortunately is not 100% solved but were getting there. They think the injectors are faulty. They have been super friendly and informative throughout the entire ordeal. Land Rover's don't leak oil, they simply mark their territory!
