Has anyone experience of these. I've not seen before and wondered what people thought. Could it be disarmed by attacking mechanism?

Twenty years ago when they first came out they were classed as perhaps the best security device for a Land Rover in fact with the exception of a steering wheel lock they were the only other option so I had one fitted, the downside was because of its size it got in the way of my left leg which was a real pain, and several people at the time found that all you had to do was crawl underneath and cut the handbrake cable and the device became useless. I suppose like all security products if you called it just another layer then all well and good. As a stand-alone security device, it does not offer that much security due to the before mentioned cutting of the cable.
