2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 DCPU Corris Grey

Snow's Here....

Morning all. For all those winter sport enthusiasts, (can't say just skiers, it would be considered snowboard-ist), the first fall of snow has come over the past 48hrs. Most at 1400m+, but had smattering quite low last night (I live at 850m). It'll all be gone at this level over the next couple of days, but fingers crossed the recent precipitation will add a good base layer up top.

Nice, but last week it was still around 18c this week 8-10.I've got to acclimatise to it yet.

Cleared up and warmed up now. Snow just on the caps. Taken at 1400, roughly same view as this morning, just further up my garden.

Snow arriving in October (before all the leaves have fallen off the trees) always causes problems at home. Photos in
my garden today. Took me 3 hours to drive from my house up the track to the road (2KM), armed with chain saw and shovel
