I live near Gt Dunmow and use the A120 a lot, but it wasn't me.

I would have waved.

This is the second time that I read that Defender owner greet each other (a bit like the bikers). Is that really the case? Very Happy

Waving at other square-shaped Land Rovers is compulsory under an EU Regulation I believe. Wink

I understand the EU directive has been updated to include waving at all solid axle LR products in an effort to preserve this aincient custom. I now wave at all manner of old Discos and Range Rovers 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

I'm old school (old anyway) so euro directives are to be ignored - custom and practice rules.
In the 1970's I ran a series 2. Series Land Rover owners waved, Toffs who could afford £2000. for a RR Classic did not.
So wave at series, 90/110 and Defenders - the rest are not worthy Laughing
