Fuse 4...is it safe?
Hi, I wondered if anyone can offer me any advice? I have planned to fit a 2.1amp USB charger, by tapping into the Fuse 4 labeled as 'NOT USED' in the No.2 under seat fuse box. Is there any reason not to do this? Many thanks.

Great! Thanks for that. Do you happen to know why it exists?

It's probably just left there to make it easier to do custom builds. Don't forget Defenders often had specialist conversions done. Everyone from Police forces and Fire services to Utility companies had them, with all sorts of non-standard equipment fitted. So they leave somewhere for the flashing lights, sirens and radios to get their power from. Wink

So long as you fit an appropriate fuse it's safe to use.
