Re-Map... JE Engineering
Hi,
This is my first post having recently purchased a 2015 Defender 110 Hardtop.

Looking through previous threads remaps seems to be a popular topic and I am looking to get this done once my warranty expires.

Having considered both Twisted and Bowler, I am now thinking of getting the JE Engineering Tune + remap which includes an upgraded intercooler... Anyone had this done? And what are your thoughts?

Thanks in advance and hope I won't ask too many silly questions!!!

I had a JE remap 30 months ago - much improved power and no problems. Really helpful company to deal with. I also had the hand brake changed to electric by them which is great, lots of legroom now.

Hi there
I had the JE “Tune +” couple of years ago. Very happy with the result and enjoyed dealing with the company..

Hi,
Thanks for the replies - This is reassuring to hear and I have to agree they have been very good to deal with whilst making my initial enquiry.
Just looking forwards to getting it done...

I’ve had the JE upgrade for about 7 years and must say it is excellent. It pulls well and surprises a few people when under acceleration off a roundabout. Noticed no improvement in MPG, but didn’t expect much anyway.

I had a J E re-map at least 9 years ago now and I'm still more than happy, yes I have recently done an engine swap but it had allready done over 100K when it was remapped and covered another 100K before the head decided to leak diesel into the sump, very hard to believe that the re-map had anything to do with that, more the fact that after 200K miles things do give way Thumbs Up

A remap makes a huge improvement whether it's JE, BAS, Alive, IRB or Empire. Empire are new forum sponsors and offering great prices at the moment and he goes to your doorstep.

Personally I went BAS (who do the Bowler and Twisted remaps) for remap and Hi Flow Intercooler and couldn't be happier with it.

Who ever you go with I'm sure you'll love it 😊

Welcome to def2, photos please. Thumbs Up James

Good to hear the positive reviews from other Forum members. There is lots of choice and as mentioned I'm sure I will be very happy. Not getting it mapped for a couple of months but I will let you all know how it goes.
Cheers
