England 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Stornoway Grey
drove another one today out of the yard stopping a various gates etc and no kangaroos Thumbs Up

appears to have a very different power delivery to mine. I'd be interested to see the power and torque curves for both and see if it's simply 'in the mind' / throttle calibration.

any how other than the clutch feel and short throw gear linkage (which I didn't like the feel) of it was a nice drive. Thumbs Up

My MY12 2.2, can be a bit kangarooish/jerky at times, have had two different MY15 90's on loan at service time - both noticeably smoother, more responsive, less truck and more car like, often wondered why. It started with a kiss, never thought it would come to this.
SIII CSW Safari, limestone, (JAC 914N). Where is she now?

It's not a car, it's a way of life!

Quick one. I'm assuming a remap in any form invalidates any LR warranty you have left? I have extended warranty for another 17 months but really want to a remap.

If you go for the BAS remap you can easily revert back to standard map in a couple of mins using your Iphone.
Then take it in for any warranty work 2016 Defender Landmark 90

there is a chance that LR updated the software and your dealer has not put the latest software on DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy

I believe they can remap now without opening the ECU, therefore with the remote tool from BAS (possibly others?) you should be able to take it off without trace??

I've read some dealers aren't worried about remaps while others are. James

More than likely. There’s and ECU upgrade for all pre my15 defenders I believe. Comes with the Q225 recall action and brings the software in line with the last released version.

Mines a kangeroo too, and going in for the S/W upgrade soon, so will report back.
