Ignition switch behaviour
Is it correct for the ignition switch to drop power to everything else on the glow plug position? The brown ignition wire has 12v on the first ignition position but holding the key on the glowplug position it drops to 0v while the brown/red glowplug feed has 12v.

Is this how it's supposed to work or should the ignition stay on while on glowplug position? If not, is this an early sign of my ignition barrel dying? Matt.
