The one vehicle I regret selling
Just noticed that Williams Classics are selling the 1948 model year 80in which I sympathetically rebuilt several years ago, which was part of their private collection. Its not got the right tailgate or door tops but it was the most original 80in I have ever owned, all the mechanical parts were original and all the ancillaries were date stamped 1948. Big Cry

Ah, regrets, I've had a few.... Laughing

However, unlike you, I've managed to hang on to my '48 that I bought in 1973,

But I do regret selling my second Lightweight.

It was great fun.

In 30 years time the younger people on here can add their Defenders to the list. Laughing

48's. Wow. They are the top prize right now although I'm not a fan of sage green! 1951 80" S1 2.0

That 48 is just beautiful Slidey Thumbs Up

Not sure I've seen a lightweight on civilian colours before, looks really good.

Looks just like a picture I won.
