2004 Defender 110 Td5 DCPU Epsom Green
TD5 Defender Ignition Live in the fuse box?
As above really. Need an ignition live for a switch ideally taken from the central fuse box. I know there are a few behind the center console but mine is nightmare to remove and refit so woild rather avoid that until I can do a lot lf wiring in one go.

So is there one there? Its only to power a small switch too

If you have electric windows then there is a relay in the fuse box with an ignition feed.

Should also be one (brown/purple) on the brown A/C connector in there

Full XS spec so all the goodies.

Thanks! What would be the best way of going about it without messing around too much?

I have got a signal cable for a sub/amp could I tap into that to power the switch or would that mess with the sub/amp?

Cheers dude!

I ask as I've just fitted some light bars, which came with a wiring loom & switch (with a small LED thats always lit) Plan is the fit a switch pod on the dash eventually but I was bored so fitted the lights anyway...

Reason I wanted the switched live is so that switch isnt live when the landy is off and thus no LED on. I imagine its a tiny current draw.

I used this to power my dashcam from ignition live, so it will start and stop automatically. Cheers, Vincent
