Puma dash with air conditioning?
All:

Are A/C & non- A/C puma dashboards identical? Are the differences behind the dash & in the switch with a snowflake on it? My Puma dash doesn’t have a snowflake button & I have no idea if it has whatever is necessary behind the dash for cold air. I will need it to have A/C when it gets a complete rebuild. I looked at LandRoverWorkshop And found an A/C button, but I’m not sure what else I need. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks,

Paul.

You'll need an air conditioning system in addition to the switch, Paul.

I have A/C in my current (pre-Puma) dash. Will those parts work? I kn ow the condenser will be different because I’m putting an LS engine in, not sure about the rest of it...

I think you'll probably need custom pipes to go from the corvette compressor the the other landrover components. I would have thought you would be able to use the landrover evaporator, condenser and drier. Then corvette compressor and custom pipes.

It might be worth getting in touch with a company who had done the work before Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

I’m using pickup truck ancillaries, as my engine is an LC9 (Not sure why there are so many engines in the LS category, but there you go).

Agree on getting in touch with the company. Difficult part is, there won’t be Land Rover electronics in it when I’m done- it’ll all be GM!

You need a clima compressor, a condenser incl. fan, some pipes for the cooling, a dryer and a heater matrix which supports the matrix heater. Furthermore I think you need an other grille frame for placing the condenser unit.
