Thanks for the feedback.
I'll replace the standard tow ball with a ball and pin combination on the rear which should work for recovery, just need to make a decision on what to do at the front between now and May. Amazing footage! Makes me look forward to this weekend even more now!
Have to admit... I’m not convinced by the Projekt Grenadier concept, I just don’t think whatever they do will cut it and I hope it’s just not some pastiche of the Defender and what it stands for. Times move on and I think the new Defender will be truly amazing. Having had a loaner Disco Sport recently I’m blown away by its refinement and all the options it has for off roading. Just felt really high tech - which let’s face it, in the days of autonomous vehicles, AI and all that it’s where it’s going. Even for the country types who use and abuse their workhorses. Anyways! Looking forward to seeing everybody and a good weekend! |

Is there any of the 5/6th weekenders interested in a meet up on the Friday for a convoy up to the campsite?
Jim & I were thinking of a Friday trip up P for an extra night under the stars together 
(Depends on if Woody is tagging along this time Jim?)

I too will be heading up on Friday afternoon. Not sure of route/timings yet - need to work around my job... Once I know more (nearer the time) - can check to see if there's a convoy I can join

Also cost me for a Military Bumper - was looking at new bumpers for a while, and when I saw the recommendation for "front recovery points", I finally took the plunge! Searched high and low on the sites, and the "whats your bumper" thread, but then decided on the standard look with more strength. Getting excited now!
