When was that? Need some cold here. Freeze level has been floating around 1100-1400m most of this year, and this week gets up to 2600 Shocked . Then on Thurs it's back to proper Jan temps, freeze level falling to 500m and 70cms of snow expected. It's been yo-yoing like that since Christmas and is causing huge problems. Level 5 Avalanche risk for the last two weeks. Still, skiing has been great Thumbs Up Monsieur Le Grenadier

I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list.....

So that Defender was going nowhere I guess. A hint of frost just before Christmas froze the door handles and locked me out forcing me into a Ford Fiesta...just when I 'needed' the Defender Rolling with laughter 2010 XS USW

When? umm 2014 I think it was though we have an orange alert for snow for most of this week Razz
I never lock it so no problems getting in, plus it has proper lift up door handles. Let the fuel pump run for a while to fill the carbs, whiff of choke, Bosch Super 4 plugs, fired up first attempt, let it run for a few minutes 'til the temperature gauge starts to move before rollong up the vent in the radiator screen. This one was taken February the same year, parked in the sunshine waiting for the snow blower to get a bit further ahead. It was unusual driving up through the clouds in the middle of a snowstorm, especially on tyres with big block treads
