Hi all,

Been a lurker for a few months, had many Range Rover classics when I lived in the US, even had a NAS Defender 90 for a while, that beast had a auto box and V8. Anyway, he’s my somewhat new 90. Had it since SEPT. It was “Twisted’”, engine remap, pipes, intercooler, suspension, double din, audio upgrade and of course the excellent 18” wheels.

Clearly been on the mods, too many packages been arriving... my list so far, new front grilles, NAS LED smoked lights all round, steering guard, NAS rear step, Kahn exhaust and mud flaps, cleans up the back much better I think. Mantec rear carrier, gas strut rear door opener went on this weekend, waiting new rear door card, hence none in the picture. It also had the panoramic glass fitted when I got it, surprisingly, it’s excellent and provides extra security if anything is left in the back. I’ve added stiffer front and rear anti roll bars which really make a huge difference to driving it, virtually zero body roll, and they still allow excellent axle movement on the rough stuff, yep, taken it off road several times.

Inside, much has changed. New black alcanatra headliner and LED interior lights, Corbeau high back heated seats and cubby, switched out the 13” Twisted steering wheel for a 14” Moto Lita, easier to park the thing. I’ve added the MUD UK heater vent deflector, something so simple, what a huge difference. It’s been soundproofed, rear seats taken out and had the rear area covered in checker plate rubber matting, thanks Audio In Car... who also installed the all important security upgrades and front and rear parking sensors too, excellent work Gary and team!

On the list is to sort out the front cabin, getting the handbrake removed this week, going for a e-brake, more to free up room in the footwell, I have long legs! The front door cards will get the leather treatment, door locks etc will get upgraded to remove the cheap plastic with alloy, needs a new carpet, so that will allow the rest of the bulkhead to get soundproofed properly in spring, back to Audio In Car again to get that done. Door handles will go, upgrade to alloy and plan to upgrade the washer spray system as well.

That will be it for now... of course, it’s never over, the mods will always continue. Laughing

Oh, and if you had this vehicle before, you spend £4k on a sound system from Twisted that wasn’t installed correctly... Audio In Car had to rewire the amps... because someone @ Twisted didn’t wire it up correctly. It sounds soooo much better now. roll:

Cheers

E-brake was installed yesterday.

First, driving back to London from Coventry, so, so much more space in the footwell area with the handbrake gone. with long legs, makes a huge difference.

Second, handbrake action. I had the switch installed on the face panel to the left of the steering wheel. when you press the button you can here the actuator lock the handbrake, before, I'd get the slight roll with the handbrake pulled up, not with this install.

Worth it, for the comfort and space down by my legs, yes!

Pictures tomorrow, although not much to show except no handbrake and a new button

What is the "E-Brake" and where is it from? Does it replace the handbrake with a switch?

Many thanks

Yes, removes the handbrake and replaces it with switch

Makes a huge difference for us tall and long legged drives IMHO
