Why are they charging a 10% Credit Charge?

£79.17 credit charge on goods totalling £791.68 seems rather high!

Have know firms charge 2-3% for credit cards but never 10%

Or does your boss take forever and a day to pay his bills??

What is the make of the tele-handler, Ian??

I would imagine the interest charges are for accounts which are not settled in the given time period. Our heating oil supplier does the same.

Good spot Brendan!

They are spot on paying their bills, never have accounts on stop, always pay on time etc.
Of all the people I have worked for, the way the business is run is faultless,
These were paid by debit card over the phone?

I did question the price of the filters with my boss, he just said “bit steep, but we need them”

I would have sat down and cross referenced them with someone, and got them all for under £150 if it was me!
I will mention the high charge tomorrow. Thumbs Up

Dieci is the make, It’s Italian we chopped in a 4 year old machine for the latest one,
This is the same as if you were to buy a NewHolland machine (if you were ever that daft) Laughing

I think someone in your accounts office needs a good jab in the ribs with a sharp elbow!

I would question how many other spurious charges have just been paid without question. I would go back through all recent invoices from that company looking for spurious charges!

Filters are a service/consumable item so someone needs to spend some time looking at alternative sources for reputable quality brands. Do NOT let the accountant buy the cheapest item just because they are cheap. Have seen it before when accountant has bought something on price alone and did not understand difference between different grades/specifications.

As a small company we have to check our invoices carefully. Found out that the card companies were actually charging us for payments which had been declined. Local water board was charging us for surface water disposal under band B/C/D etc. Quick look at the banding structure and we were being charged for surface water disposal for the entire industrial park!

I guess it has an CNH engine in it, for the engine and adblue filters you could possibly pick them up from an Iveco dealer possibly cheaper!
