The part number on the CNH filter box does look like an Iveco number, I guess it has the 4cyl Tector engine as fitted to 7.5 tonners etc. pretty common engine.

Tell me about it,
I had the bosses sons 2 year old Peugeot Boxer sent over to me, Ended up putting a recon engine and turbo in it to the tune of £4K The engine and turbo and DPF were solid with carbon, never seen anything like it! The Peugeot dealer in Jersey wasn’t interested, he hadn’t even got close to paying the finance off on it! I would never own a anything with DPF in Jersey or Gernsey 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

The only good thing I guess it hasn’t got EGR like the trucks so shouldn’t gum it self up! And the DPF will run at lower temps due to its ability to carry out a regen with out post injecting fuel.
I grew up on Iveco and there not bad engines at all. Cheers Will 2005 90 XS 1954 86'' Series 1 tilt |
