Looks like they've done an 'Apple' on us consumers. They've brought out a new toy, but only 75% finished, and will bring out the 'updated' version with better screen and wireless connectivity in a year's time. I'll wait for that one

^ Yep, if it had the wireless and a higher res to that large screen (that could be used for more functionality), then I'd be seriously tempted -particularly when it's discounted a few months in.
It's a shame Alpine's other Carplay unit with wireless isn't available in Europe, it's cheaper too.

Hopefully there will be other wireless options coming along from competing manufacturers.
