Lock-barrel-to-pushrod thingie: part number?
I recently replaced my lock barrels (part no MTC6505) and want to replace the "thingie" that connects the barrel to the pushrod, but I can't seem to find the part number! It's the part that the barrel's end fits into (kept in place by the sprung pin) and that takes the screw at the other end to connect it to the pushrod, know what I mean?

Your help is much appreciated!

Oh, and the Br#tpart barrels suck, it takes me a long time to put the key all the way in and get it back out again, the key seems to catch on every plate that's inside the barrel arrrgghhh!!! Will have to replace them. I knew the blue bag parts aren't top quality, but these are totally and utterly crap!

Edit: fixed typos Defender 130 HCPU Td5 MY2000

Lubricating them with graphite powder will solve the latter problem. I fitted new locks to mine with similar results but a little bit of graphite has transformed them. Darren

Really? Will give it a try for sure, I thought they were beyond repair!

Anyone any clue on the part number? So basically the part that MTC6505 slides into? Defender 130 HCPU Td5 MY2000

Thanks, some lubricant sorted it out!

Now all that's left is the part number. Anyone? Defender 130 HCPU Td5 MY2000

Hello,
the rear lock barrel on my 300TDi Defender is faulty and it's a single-sided key type whereas the doors and filler cap use the same double-sided key.

Will MTC6505 fit this variant of Defender?
