I've lurked on the forum for a while and have learnt loads already. Reading others posts has what's inspired me to just do it!

Actually Grafty I'm closer than that! Last year, in my spare time, I was working at Woolacombe school. You may have seen my Landy knocking about. I've lived in Lincombe (above Lee), the kids used to love going up and down the road from Lee to Mortehoe in the Landy. I'm out by East Down now but work on Mullacott Ind Est!

Slow but steady progress thanks to the seriously rusted nuts & bolts, the angle grinder is earning it's keep. Passenger side wing is off, made a start on the drivers side. It's looking like she was in an accident at some point. The passenger B-Pillar is twisted a bit and the 2 locating pins for the windscreen are bent on that side.

I didn't take pics as my camera is also my Jukebox! I'll snap my progress this weekend and post them up.

Hey L110CDL! I've spotted a nice looking 90 parked outside the window frame company on Mullacot, can't remember what colour it is off the top of my head. Where abouts are you located?

I managed to blag a shot blasting cabinet and the free standing extraction unit that goes with it yesterday!!! Just got to clear a space in the workshop for it which means putting a few bits back on the old girl to move her out the way...

Certainly looking forward to getting the smaller bits cleaned up as good as new!

Blasted the towing eyes to see what kind of finish I could get. Should've taken a before pic but trust me, they were rusted to Hell!

There's a little rust starting to poke through but I reckon some rust converter should sort that.
I know I'll probably find the answer on here but is there a "best" way to rust proof bits like this? I may be way off but I was going to go rust converter-red oxide paint-Matt Black finish then Dinitrol/Waxoyl etc...

Well Fatbaron I live about 2 minutes from mullacott at the end of Warcombe Lane! Even closer then! You may well have seen my 90 on the industrial estate as, especially in the summer, I'm there quite a bit (usually visiting Philip Dennis for supplies).

Small world isn't it? My girlfriend's mum as one of the administrators at Woolacombe school! (and I went there as a kid) Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
