[AUCTION] Christmas Charity Auction pr of Vision X Cannon 25
Christmas Charity Auction of a pair of Vision X Cannon 25.

This is almost becoming a tradition- a Christmas charity auction by 4x4overlander

Most people have their own favourite charities and there are many deserving charities out there. Our first year we had an auction in aid of Dravet research as a forum member's son was suffering from Dravet syndrome.

Second year we had a charity auction in aid of Multiple Sclerosis as a Def 2 member has been diagnosed with MS.

This year we are having a charity auction in favour of Alzheimers UK. Dementia is an illness which effects many people and several forum users are likely to have experienced dementia in their families and Barbara's mother died as a result of Dementia with Lewy bodies. Alzheimers UK both supports people suffering from the various forms of dementia and their families and also funds research.

Normal retail price in the UK for a pair of Vision X Cannon 25 is £389 plus delivery in the UK

This charity auction is for a a pair of VisionX Cannon 25 with free delivery in mainland UK. This forum is mainly UK based however we are an international forum so for our oversea friends if you wish to bid feel free but we may have to charge for carriage overseas. If you want a quote for carriage just email us.

Get further info on the lights here

Auction rules?

Initial starting bid to be a minimum of £50

Other bids to be in multiple of £5.

Bids of £x + 99p etc not accepted. Any such bid will be rounded up to the nearest £5

Only Defender registered members can bid

Auction to start on Sunday 3rd December 2017

Final bid to be 23.59 on Sunday 17th December 2017

If the auction winner is a UK taxpayer we would prefer the Dementia society being paid directly via gift aid. Reason being the Dementia society can reclaim the tax on it.

For information on Gift Aid read this. Basically the charity can claim 25% back from the government without costing the donor a penny extra

To aid "housekeeping" 4x4overlander will edit this post with all bids so it is easier for people to see the auction results on the first post.

Please spread the news of this auction to your friends/colleagues etc.

Any questions ask away.

We have the lights in stock so if winner pays promptly they could have it for Christmas

We will be setting up a Just Giving page in next couple of days so people can donate if they feel they want to

BIDS to date

1) Sulisuli £100

2) Ian Series 1 £150

3) AJC £200

4) Ramsay. £250

5) donmacn £300

Great idea, and a set of lights that look good.

Before I bid, I'd need to know if the lights would fit on my A bar. It's pretty tight to the grille - I reckon I've got about 80 or 90mm to play with. I've looked at various product pages, including the vision x website, but I can't see a diagram with the measurement from the back of the light to the hole in the mounting bracket... any information?

Ta.

Hi Don,
Off top of my head I do not know that measurement.

We have them fitted to the bumper on our grey 90.

If I remember I will take a measurement when I am down at the warehouse.

My standard comment will be give me a gentle poke if not done it in a few days.

Thanks Brendan, great if you could, and I'll try and be patient before providing a gentle reminder!

Cheers

donmacn, have not had the chance to take one out of the box to measure up carefully.

Have had a quick measurement of the ones fitted on our bumper in the dark.

Distance from back of light housing to middle of transverse bolt is about 40mm.

From middle of transverse bolt to headlight surround is about 50mm.

HTH

Sorry but I think a raffle gets us into all sorts of legal problems.

If you fancy putting the price of a raffle ticket or a pint into the Justgiving page HERE feel free
