I've put up around 6,000 miles on 18'' BFG UT on a Disco 2.
They replaced Goodyear Wranglers that are no longer available. So far I don't have any complaints. They are good under braking, handle well on the twisty bits and are quiet with regards to road noise. I haven't been off the tarmac yet so I've no idea how they will work on mud or grass. I have them on both Jimny s. First set have almost 20k miles on and have lost possibly 1mm. They're a road tyre and won't deal with axle deep mud but farm tracks and wet grass are shrugged off no worries. They're also amazing in winter, the last lot of snow essentially didn't happen as far as they were concerned. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.
