Mantec Wheel Carrier - 285 75 Tyres and NAS Lights
I've been considering fitting a Mantec wheel carrier for a few months and seeing the post earlier today that they have ceased trading has spurred me to get one before stock runs out. It will go on a 2005 110 with the later style rear door which means this one should be ideal: https://www.flatdoguk.com/defender-spare-wheel-carrier~485

Just a few queries if anyone is able to confirm? Will the door open a full 90' with a 285 75 r16 tyre on it, ideally without hitting the foglight? The NAS type fog light is in the standard position as per the photos.

I'm happy to chop/weld the bumperette to allow room for the lower chassis bracket Very Happy

Thanks, Harry

This is the Mantec with Adventure wheels and Goodyear wrangler 235/85 16. Previously, the standard carrier allowed the tyre to contact the tail light. Also bought our Mantec from flat dog (at the Scottish Land Show). Straightforward to fit and happy with results in terms of appearance and no rattles.
