Lord Mayor's Parade

Spent a great day watching the Lord Mayor parade in London today. Lots of LR on display. Just don't mention the new RRS which broke down

But only for a few minutes!

If your still in London going to the Cenotaph today for the parade is special experience, Then going in a few Pubs afterwards, watching 90 year old ex paras drink like fishes and act like they are 20 something. It is something quite special

2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Montalcino Red

I went to The Grenadier pub yesterday near Hyde Park Corner. Was full of said military vets knocking back the pints & whiskies. However it was fun chatting and hearing about all the medals and stories.

It was my first visit to the pub. I was inspired by the Oxford & Cambridge Far East Expedition (First Overland), which set off from this pub in 1955. However no-one there seemed to know about it

Did you manage to take any photos of the donkeys? BBC cut from them to show an interview with the Lord Mayor as they were passing Mansion House. Defender 90XS SW
