Naka raised air intake
Now the turbo pipe has ruptured on the 130 I'd might as well sort the intakeside of things while doing the intercooler. Lots of current chat about Nugget Stuff intakes and airbox mods.

Naka do an intake which claims to straighten the air intake out. Has anyone fitted it and can show what it does from wing top onwards? I assume you can seal this in a similar way to the Nugget stuff gear to improve water resistance?

Reason I ask is adding the Nugget intake plus RAI you come out with a broadly similar price.

Are you just looking for a sealed snorkel?
The Southdown one is around £170 and fully sealed thru to the airbox. http://www.southdown4x4.co.uk/Snorkel%20Defender%20Puma%

I have a Nakatanenga system fitted and (in my opinion) it is in a different league to anything else. It also made a surprising difference to engine performance.

There is a large bore flexi pipe from the wing top to the air box very similar to a Nugget duct but IIRC larger. I will try to get a picture or two tomorrow.

There is a thread on here with pictures already, somewhere, if you search.

Fit the Southdown, replaces the terrible restrictive LR intake with a solid 3" pipe straight to the air box.

These two threads have information and pictures of the Nakatanenga RAI, including the bits under the bonnet.
