There’s an interesting article on BBC news about the horrendous mess that vehicle emissions regulations has become. The system is broken.

Interesting reading but I think I will be staying with my euro5 petrol Jimny for the foreseeable future. 37plus mpg and a lovely quite engine note. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

Oh and what of the environmental impact of scrappage and replacement with new vs prolonged lifespans with retro fitted emissions reduction technology? Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

BBC Article on Emissions - Interesting discovery
A BBC article on an emissions test carried out by a journo on his Dad's and his cars, as a comparison/competition. Results are interesting, but how they compare with current Euro 6 testing even more so:
