Rear seat and seat belt buckle
Good day,

I think this must be a common topic/issue as when looking for a 90 I noticed this a lot.

If the rear seat belt buckle isn't folded down before folding the seat, it can and will push into the seat back and deform it which I've seen minor and major cases of this.

Happily mine were in perfect condition until I forgot to lower the buckle after having a passenger in the back so the rear seat back is a bit indented.

Any quick fix for this besides getting a new foam insert? I know it's only cosmetic but have only had this for a week!

Thank you in advance,

P

It should recover it's normal form after a few weeks of being unfolded, unless it's been left folded up for months.
If it's leather than a clean and some leather cream like liquid leather will help it recover more quickly.

Thanks for the tip zsb.

The leather should do as you say but it's the foam underneath that feels to have been pushed in. Silly design IMHO.

A bit of digging on line shows a steamer directly on the foam might help bring it back so will try that too.
