And now think I prefer these.................

I'm thinking that the 20"s would look the mutts nuts on a black or dark highly polished example, which mine isnt.
What do you think? I can easily sell them on.

Part of me can see why you were tempted Very Happy

However, the majority agrees with you that the Wolfs look more fitting Thumbs Up especially on a DCPU.

All the best with your decision. 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green - It's a keeper.

As you say on a polished defender, but really how long is it going to before you take a chunk out of them? Russell

I tell you what surprised me with these 20s, I wasnt expecting the ride to be noticeably softer than with my 16" MTRs.

I'm wondering whether I'm running the pressures too high on the MTRs, or whether they have very stiff side walls?

Argh, my eyes, my eyes Shocked

Stick to the Wolfs.

Wait, what am I saying? They're really cool and the Wolfs look rubbish! I'll help you out by taking those scruffy old steels off your hands really cheaply Whistle Darren

Yes, correct BFG especially have multiple ply reinforced sidewalls with steel banding so are very very strong and stiff.
Other brands would also be similar.
I don't think that is a bad thing if you go off of tarmac!

I'm not a fan of 20s on the Defender, 18 max.

To be honest I prefer your original rims Thumbs Up

i do love a big wheel, but in this instance, stick with the HD's,

Our keeper which is mothballed in storage has a set of HD's and i really like the look.

I'd also love some hutchinsons in the future hmm
