Oil filter.
Is this my oil filter on the left? Why is it up here?

If you mean the filter mounted on the bulkhead by the pedals etc. then that's the fuel filter.

Oil filter is on the right hand side of the engine about 2/3 of the way down. Under the fuel injection lines.

Yes, that's why I said home made.

The corrugated pipe from the top of the rocker cover - does that lead into this large container thing?
